Are you one of those young people who are fascinated by technology? Do you always get in trouble at home because you take devices apart to see how they work? We are looking for exactly you! Horstmann Maschinenbau, as a state-approved training company, offers you the opportunity to turn your hobby into a profession. For example, as a cutting machine operator or precision mechanic, specializing in mechanical engineering.

Become a cutting or precision mechanic (specializing in mechanical engineering)
Fabricate complex metal and plastic components and learn designing them
Work with modern CNC milling & turning machines in our in-house trainee workshop

Machinist or precision mechanic

In both professions, you primarily produce precision components made of metal or plastic by turning, milling, drilling and grinding. Of course, this is not done entirely by hand, but largely with the help of computer-aided CNC machines and other production machinery. In order to teach you the wide range of machining possibilities, we have set up a large training workshop with modern milling and turning equipment. After successfully passing the journeyman’s examination, the world is open to you in both professions: Thanks to our first-class training, Horstmann graduates are welcomed by other companies. Staying with us, you can look forward to exciting tasks, friendly training colleagues and helpful instructors at all times. Of course, a detailed training plan is available for the entire apprenticeship period. Would you like to get a taste of the profession in advance? No problem. We regularly have internships available.
